Highlights:

Jiuzhaigou is known far and wide as 'A Fairyland'. This National Park's main scenery is its three valleys, where you will find 114 lakes, 17 waterfalls, 11 rip currents, and 5 travertine beaches. The breathtaking stunning scenery with local Tibetan folk customs will make you feel the real fairyland. In 1992, Jiuzhaigou Valley was included by the UNESCO on the World Natural Heritage list. Huanglong's elevation is around 3,000 meters, and is very famous for its colorful lakes. Around the colorful lakes there are virgin forests and snow-capped mountains. Huanglong became a World Natural Heritage Site in December 1992.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Chengdu-Maoxian-Jiuzhaigou (L+D)

To be met at your hotel in Chengdu around 7:30am, and start driving to Jiuzhaigou along the Minjiang River with stunning scenery, it takes about 10 hours.

Overnight: Jiuzhaigou Resort Hotel or similar class hotel.

Day 2: Jiuzhaigou National Park Sightseeing (B+D

You will have one full day to spend at Jiuzhaigou National Park. With many lakes, waterfalls, and Tibetan villages to explore, you can take the inside sightseeing bus or if you want you can be on foot. In the evening you will have the chance to see a local Tibetan Culture show (Price not included).

Overnight: Jiuzhaigou Resort Hotel or similar class hotel.

Long Lake

Day 3: Huanglong Natinal Park (B+L+D)

Drive from Jiuzhaigou to Huanglong Park, you will see plateau grasslands en route. You have about 3 -4 hours sightseeing at Huanglong. You can consider to climb the mountain depending on your health conditon. After the sightseeing at Huanglong, we will drive to Maoxian county.

Overnight:Maoxian Hotel.

Day 4: Maoxian - Chengdu (B+L)

After breakfast, drive back to Chengdu, on the way you may have a stop at Dujiangyang irrigation system to have a sightseeing ( entrance 90RMB/P.P excluded). If you take a join-in tour, the tourist bus will not stop for a sightseeing, you need to visit the irrigation system on your own, after that take a public bus back to Chengdu.
